Competition rules “Strive for five”, Café Driver

Conditions and rules

  1. Predict the winner of one of the monuments on the day of the cycling race and this for the last 50 km until the finish of the cycling race in question. In concrete terms, this means that a forecast can no longer be issued at 49 km or less from the finish.

  2. You must always be physically present in our cycling café in Borgloon and you must hand in your prediction in time (see point 1) to an employee of Café Coureur

  3. After each monument, the two winners of the day will be announced on site. If the winner is not present to receive their prize with proof of identity, a new winner will be selected. You win by predicting which rider will win that day's monument. When more than 2 people indicate the correct winner, the answer to the tiebreaker will decide who are the 2 winners of the day. These 2 people will each win an annual subscription to GINTA magazine. If no one or only 1 person could predict the winner of the monument, the tiebreaker will decide the winners of our daily prize.

  4. In the week of October 10, 2022, after the last monument (Tour of Lombardy), a check will be made to see who has correctly predicted at least 3 of the 5 winners. Anyone who correctly predicted 3 of the 5 winners in total will win a free weekend for 2 people and 2 nights with breakfast in one of our sites (Borgloon or Houffalize) and will be notified personally. This weekend must be recorded before December 20, 2023.

  5. The 5 (cycling) monuments mentioned above are, in chronological order

    • March 19: Milan - San Remo

    • April 3: Tour of Flanders

    • April 17: Paris – Roubaix

    • April 24: Liège – Bastogne – Liège

    • October 8: Tour of Lombardy
